CLI user guide
Install, sign in, query platform data, and understand results before moving on to validation, automation, and guarded writes.
tiangong-lca is the TianGong LCA command-line client. Use it to query platform data, validate local records, and—with the required permissions—save drafts or publish. You do not need to read source code or clone a repository.
Start with Install, sign in, and run your first query. You will retrieve up to 3 public processes and learn to distinguish success, empty results, and access problems.

tidas and tiangong-lca are separate commands; installing one does not install the other. Skills supply task instructions and runners, not another account system. Platform commands use the CLI’s local sign-in session. MCP is an optional alternative integration, not a CLI prerequisite.
Versions used in this guide
Examples pin @tiangong-lca/cli@0.1.8, requiring Node.js >=24.19.0 <25 and pnpm 11.24.0. If you also use Skills, choose their exact required Node.js version, 24.19.0.
The first query is read-only: it creates, changes, and deletes no platform data. Publishing and maintenance chapters are for operators with prepared inputs and explicit authorization. Signing in does not itself grant publishing or administrative access.
